Friends Of The Brainerd Public Library
We…
AFFIRM our belief that the library is an invaluable asset to everyone in our community.
RECOGNIZE that goals in library advocacy can be better achieved through an organization rather than as individuals
ENCOURAGE the use of the library’s resources and services through publicity and participation in library activities
ENRICH the cultural life of the community by sponsoring special programs and exhibits
STIMULATE public support for fund drives and
PROVIDE equipment and materials not available through the regular library budget by organizing fund raising events
We are a group of people who have a big something in common. They LOVE the local library!
The Friends Board meets on the first Monday of each month at 10:00 a.m. to discuss upcoming Friends events, and look at ways to support our local library and community. Friends members, as well as those interested in knowing more about Friends of the Library, are welcome to attend.
